The Greatness Guide

The Greatness Guide (Robin Sharma)

Tired of playing small with your mundane life?
Feel like you were meant to be so much more?
Want to live life at a level people perceive Extraordinary ?

If you gave an affirmative Yes answer on to any (or all) of these questions - the Greatness Guide by Robin Sharma is a must read (or should I say written exclusively for you)!! The Greatness Guide is a strikingly powerful and amazingly practical handbook that will inspire you to get world class in both your personal and professional life.

Written by Robin Sharma - a man whose ideas have been embraced by celebrity CEOs, rock stars, royalty and many Fortune 500 companies the book contains several enormously inspiring, creative & BIG ideas that will get you to your ideal life faster than you'd have imagined !!

The book starts with Robin explaining the very fact that all mortal souls are alike - trying to work hard to make the best of one's days; He says "I'm no different from you. I have my struggles, my own fears - along with my hopes, goals and dreams....".

What makes book so interesting is the way Robin conveys the strategies by illustrating examples from his personal experiences. The book contains some One Hundred Chapters - each one shows exactly how to learn what is the best to do to become even better at work and on personal front as well.

Some one liners I loved (and finally jotted down) are:

+ Be a Rock Star at Work.
+ Know your Genius
+ Burn your Boats
+ Make Time to Think
+ Speak like a Superstar
+ Commit to First Class
+ Do a clean Sweep
+ Make a dent in the Universe
+ Get big on Self Care

As one goes through the pages - there would be moments when one would just close the book, sit back in deep thought and ponder - "Hey I knew this, wish someone presented this to me in this lucid way before....". The revolutionary tactics for peak performance presented in this groundbreaking book are ones you would never forget. Finally my personal favorite line from the book:

Seize those "Cubic Opportunities of Chance" when you get to present yourself to do wonders ! I tried this recently and believe me it worked wonders for me. Good Luck and wish you a wonderful year ahead...!

"Life is a Pure Adventure and the sooner we realize that, the quicker we will be able to treat life as art."

Some folks said that greatness is only achieved in one's deeds , but I must say that this eye opener book review went inside the cornea view of my mind to reveal that even the simple facets of life aid in "greatness".The jotted points by Chinmay are so simple yet so meaningful like "Make a dent in the universe","Get big on Self care","Speak like a genius" etc; these are the ones that makes us think that we have an uniqueness in our individuality and we forget to explore our talents. So, live the king size way by thinking the "greatness way" and if you don't get a hint of what to do , you can touchbase the points to ponder in the review..Very well written buddy, infact this inspires me to take some good new year resolutions as well...Thank you buddy!
